The experts delegation of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and other institutions headed by Lu Yongxiang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Sciences, inspected Yutong while conducting investigation on Design Innovation Development Strategy in Henan province on November 26, 2013.

Accompanied by Tang Yuxiang, president of Yutong Group, Lu and his delegation watched the corporate video and then inspected the final assembly workshop and experiment center. During the visit, Tang introduced the information about Yutong’s production and management, technical innovation and product development. At the experiment center, Lu, after learning Yutong’s construction situation of test capabilities on calculation and analysis, bench experiment, whole vehicle test and so on, recognized Yutong’s investment in building the basic innovative capability and encouraged Yutong to continually strengthen the independent innovation capacity and give full play to its advantages in technical innovation.

At the show bus area, the delegation took a close look at the school buses, business purpose vehicles and new energy vehicles self-developed by Yutong and boarded the show buses with great interest. Lu conducted in-depth exchanges on the technology roadmap of new energy products, energy-saving effect, market performance and other relevant policies with Tang. Lu spoke highly of Yutong’s technology roadmap of new energy products and its market performance. At the end of the visit, Tang presented a model school bus to Lu as a souvenir.
