Demonstration run of Yutong electric bus in Xinxiang

On February 5, Yutong electric bus ZK6126EGA9, 11.6-meter long, zero emission, low noise, unveiled in Xinxiang City, Henan Province. This was the first 11.6-meter electric bus launched by Yutong, which was also the first electric bus running in Henan Province.

It is learned that ZK6126EGA9 combines with the distinctive feature of "zero-emission, low noise", equipped with Yutong self-developed electric drive system to achieve zero emissions and low energy consumption; automatic transmission technology to avoid frequent shift; electric power steering technology to make drivers more comfortable; electric driven mute technology to reduce noise; intelligent vehicle CAN network technology to make the vehicle more intelligent, etc.

The bus adopts the appearance of BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), equipped with on-board GPS, station announcer, monitoring system, destination signs, IC card machine, which greatly satisfies the needs of users in operation. Yutong electric bus ZK6126EGA9, treated by electrocoating process, can ensure the vehicle as bright as when new during the entire operation period.

In fact, Yutong has started the research on development of new energy buses long ago. As early as 1999, Yutong already completed the development of its first electric bus; in 2005, Yutong launched the first hybrid bus; in 2009, Yutong made great breakthrough in the core technology of complete bus control and system integration, and launched its own hybrid and electric systems.

As the leading bus builder in China’s bus industry, Yutong launched the first 14-meter hybrid bus and the first gas-electric hybrid bus in China. Up to now, totally ten models of hybrid city buses and one electric bus model have been developed, and seven of which have been listed in the public notice.
