Closer to Home, Connected to More
From suburban streets to major transport hubs, communities need smarter ways to move. Families, students and commuters want services that start where they live and link smoothly to where they work, study and shop. Yutong is making those connections possible through its global electric bus portfolio, delivering proven zero-emission solutions for diverse transport needs.
What was once a distant idea is now a daily reality. Smaller electric buses are strengthening local connections, articulated models are easing pressure on busy urban corridors, and double deckers are redefining capacity on the most demanding routes. Together, these vehicles are reshaping public transport—route by route, community by community.
A daily reality, not a distant idea
The Yutong E7S is already operating through active trial programs, designed specifically for demand-responsive and community transport applications. It brings public transport closer to home by directly connecting neighbourhoods with train stations, shopping centres and workplaces.
For passengers, this means quieter journeys, cleaner air and improved comfort. For operators, it demonstrates that electric buses can deliver tangible benefits through lower operating costs and reduced maintenance requirements. The E7S shows that zero-emission transport is not a future ambition—it is a practical solution available today.

Quieter journeys, cleaner air and more convenience.
Scaling up for cities
As passenger demand increases, capacity becomes critical. The Yutong U18 articulated electric bus is built to meet this challenge. With capacity for up to 125 passengers and a fully accessible low-floor design, it is well suited to high-demand urban routes.
Importantly, the U18 and other models in Yutong’s electric range—such as the D7E and C12E—are purpose-built electric vehicles, not conversions from diesel platforms. This ensures that structural safety, intelligent energy management and Yutong’s proprietary safety standards are fully integrated from the outset.
Looking further ahead
Yutong is also expanding its electric portfolio with the introduction of a double decker electric bus, recently unveiled in China. Combining increased seating capacity with advanced battery technology, this model opens new possibilities for major cities and tourism-focused routes.
These products are backed by a proven global track record. To date, Yutong has delivered more than 196,000 new energy buses worldwide, saving approximately 9.6 billion litres of fuel and reducing carbon emissions by 28.5 million tonnes of CO₂. This scale provides confidence that the technology is mature, reliable and ready for deployment across diverse markets.
Confidence for operators
As fleets transition toward zero-emission transport, operators increasingly seek clarity and proven performance. Yutong’s approach is built on real-world operation and verified results—not promises.
Whether serving school routes, regional shuttles, suburban connectors or high-capacity urban corridors, Yutong’s electric bus range demonstrates that practical, scalable solutions are available today.
Building a lasting legacy
For operators, the question is no longer if zero-emission buses will work, but how quickly they can be integrated into existing fleets.
The benefits are already clear:
• Cleaner air in local communities
• Quieter journeys through busy streets
• Improved efficiency and capacity on high-demand routes
Yutong believes that true legacy is not defined by the vehicles of the past, but by the transport systems being built today. With zero-emission buses already in operation and more advanced models entering service, the future of public transport is no longer distant—it is happening now, where journeys begin and where communities connect.
